Stay away from FNB or move your bank accounts from FNB if you can!
I wrote a mail to FNB on July 30, 2020 with a simple request fro info about my longstanding home loan account. Since I did not get any answers I repeatedly mailed again, but the only reaction I got, was a notification that my request was conveniently forwarded to yet another department, so the department I wrote to got rid of this problem and pushed it on to the next one...Its abbsolute joke... Thomas Mdudli forwarded my mail to the Admin Department "ffor further assistance" ... After I complained again the FNBCC Service Recovery department forwarded to homeloans with the proven method "Can you please assist".? This was on October 30, 2 (!) months ago...No reaction since whatsoever, and 4 months after my first mail...and counting;) Stay away from FNB if you can, absolutely no interest in service despite the fact that the information I needed is essential and it is ******* and ******** to withhold this information. I will now go to the banking ombudsman to force them to do their job, for which they are paid by the outrageously high banking fees we pay. Stay way from these ****** if you can! Fortunately there are alternative financial institutions who are willing to answer mails within 4 months(!)
Again, all the names of these poor, useless FNB agents, mails, ref. numbers from the past 4 months are going to the banking ombudsman, we are waiting for reply. Maybe the ombudsman will stop these ******** practises of FNB and force them to communicate with their clients as they are expected by law.
Do you really want to trust FNB with your money when they are lying to their clients, for months? Wouldn't it be a smart move to leave the *********? The choice is yours....
