Staff dont know what they are doing

Created a new account with FNB at the Mall @ REDS branch Centurion. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Thats where it ends. Knowing I am going to make online card purchases I asked if the VISA card uses 3d Secure for South African payments, to which the guy looked baffled as if he had no clue what it was. I told him thats how I know Mastercard works, which he then rep**** no its not the same. He asked me if I want eBucks, which I said yes. Waiting 5 days for my card instead of the promised 3, I go home and start using my new bank.

I soon come to realize that their mobile app is complete ****. When buying prepaid elictricity, the result of the purchase says it doesnt know if the purchase worked and you should wait for a confirmation SMS. Not only that, but you cant even register a beneficiary for prepaid payments, so now I have to keep notes with me for every single ****** think I want to top up.

Trying to make a payment to Afrihost, I am greeted with 3d secure, and my payment fails because guess what, my card is not activated for it.

Also after almost a month of using my eBucks is still on 0

FNB, I think you need to step up or go home if you dont know how business works. No wonder you spend millions in advertising because people leave you. And now I know why.

Call me in the next 48 hours to resolve this issue, or I might take the next step and be trying to take you to the consumer act

Reviewer Update
It seems I am not able to ammend my original review, so I am forced to make a comment. FNB FAQ state how to activate the 3d secure (also known as Verified by VIa), but guess what. It doesnt even exist on the website. Here is the source of the FNB docs. Please note, its HTTPS (secure) and the domain is fnb.co.za. Therefor not spam https://www.fnb.co.za/downloads/online-banking-documentation/verified-by-visa-faq-fnb.pdf
