I extend my heartfealt appreciation to you, Esmeralda van Wyk, the FNB consultant based in the Kuruman Branch.

Yesterday, 13 August 2021, You ensured that “Friday the 13th” does not strike me. I could not access my funds as a new FNB Client, with so many verifications that I had to do to access my funds. I am delighted for all you did to ensure that I am assisted to transact on my account. I am a happy client. My expectations were met.

Again, I appreciate the fact that you were professional and shared my frustration. I felt that my concern regarding access to my funds were also yours. You patiently called around, even connecting to colleagues at the FNB Rosslyn Branch. Your conduct is quite inspiring from a personal point of view and delightful from a client service perspective. Esmeralda, you are a Wow. You are a star. Shining daytime to give me the best service and experience. Though I write these words, your helpfulness went beyond words. It is the expression of active Ubuntu – the “humanenesss” of a human-being. You did not know me. You had every reason to just do enough bare minimum in line with her responsibilities of meeting targets for the day. But your humanity and empathy went beyond the standard.

May God continue to bless us with many like you, who serve from the bottom of their hearts. Thank you so much Esmeralda, Best wishes. You were truly amazing.
