sorry we cannot/won't close your account
<p>so i've been with FNB for many years and i decided to close my account an move to their competiror due to high rates & charges...and i went to the branch yesterday to close my cheque account and i was told that it cannot be closed, i must come back today which i did and spent almost an hour waiting for my ticket to be called unfortunately my lunch time was finished and i was not assisted...i do not understand why they can't close my account its not like its in arrears it has been paid up but they cannot close it????????? the lady who was assistaing me said something about calling some online what what since i opened the account online so online accounts cannot be closed then i guess? i need my account closed as i am not going back to the branch again the staff at the branch are clueless and the service is pathetic and i will not pay any service fees because its not my fault that they could not close the account at the branch.</p>

I HAVE BEEN CHARGED SERVICE FEES and the issue has not been resolved, i went to cancel the account last week before the service fees goes off and i was not assisted, someone called me on thuirsday and i asked them to call me after 2pm she said she will try her best if not she will call me on saturday and nothing since then...I WILL NOT PAY FOR THOSE FEES NEVER
