So, it is me and FNB AGAIN

After lodging a complaint on the Hellopeter platform, FNB sent an email confirmation on the 20 November 017 that my InContact Details were updated. However, yesterday (4 December 2017) when I wanted to purchase some Christmas goodies for family back in SA the OTP was sent to my mobile number in SA which I thought was updated to my personal email. Yesterday, I sent an email query to my private banker, Sonia De La Cruz but alas the communication updates are as usual extremely slow from FNB. See my email below:

I have received a mail (see forwarded mail) that confirms that my Incontact Details have been updated. I assumed that my OTP's would now be sent to my email yet it appears that it still goes to my SA mobile number? Can someone please clarify the current situation I face now?

Also, see OTP incontact details below: Your One Time PIN (OTP) has been sent to your mobile phone. Please enter the OTP below. Merchant:MakroAmount:ZAR 1234.00Date: ********** 4 08:58:53 GMTCard Number:***X ***X ***X 1047Personal Message:CARD ENDING 1047

Good Day,

I truly regret taking note of your experience; thank you for bringing this to my attention. Please accept my deepest apologies.

I have requested that the matter be referred to FNB Online Banking to assist by having your OTP's sent to your email address and have requested that Private Banking address the matter with the Private banker.

Your complaint reference is ***NF.

I again apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused.

Kind Regards,
