Sneaky moves by FNB encouraging their customers to get into credit card debt.

I received a notification that my credit card limits had been changed - my budget facility had been added to my straight max - so now it shows that I have a huge available limit on my card. On querying with FNB they say that no notification was sent to clients, this is a move to make it easier for clients to access funds (let's be honest - run into debt) over the Festive Season. I understood that the CPA was trying to stop people getting into debt they cant afford, yet here is FNB trying to make it easier. It appears this move was done automatically with no notification given to customer prior to the change being done.
