smart Spend Loan Ripoff

Hi

I recently app**** for a Smart loan with FNB to move my current debt from STD Bank to FNB bank however i was therefore given a ridicolous interest rate of 28% of which STD Bank had given me interest of 21% after prime lending rate was increased. I was on holiday for the past week and only had to go through my finances to reconcile and recheck. I then called your Helpdesk to explain my issue and was told i only had 5 days to decline the offer, i voluntery stated that i would refund the R35 000 that was deposited into my account immediately to settle as i find that your interest rate is ridicoulus compared to other banks. Please advise on how we can settle this issue, it hasnt even been a week and yet on the settlement loan amount there is interest already accumulated. I always thought FNB was one of the best bank but after the service recived today i beg to differ. A consultant should have called me first to negotiate the interest instead of transferring funds into my account immediately after i sent thorugh my documents without having to have telephonically dicussed and reached an agreement, how does a sane person go from 21% interest to 28% interest just like that. Can someone please call me back and advise how this matter can be sorted out.

Thank you and regards
Ellen
