Smart Device - Samsung Service Support SUCKS!

My Samsung S7 smart device stopped working due to what I have deduced to be some form of hardware fault, after just a year.

I looked after it well; I never dropped it, or spilled water on it, or put it in a situation where it could acquire electrical damage.

I tried to reset the device multiple times, but it just went into a cyclic reboot when it reached the Samsung loading splash screen.

I phoned FNB to find out where I can take it to get it fixed under warranty, and their Smart Device service department pointed me to Centurion Lifestyle Centre, Dion Wired, which it turns out is closed and no longer open for business.

Then after a second call to this department, I was directed to Gateway Plaza Centurion, Hirch's, and when I arrived, they had no clue that they are supposed to be a Samsung service centre, as they had not been set up for it.

So keep in mind that I was looking specifically around the Centurion area because I don't have my own transport, and travelling any further is expensive. These two trips were already expensive enough as it is, since they ended in failure. So FNB has by this point wasted my time twice, and they have cost me money twice, because of their Smart Device Service department's incompetence.

I asked the guys in this department if FNB could collect the device to take it to a service centre for me, and apparently I don't stay far enough away from a service centre, which is *******, because according to them, they think that I'm near a service centre, whereas I actually am not. Their information is incorrect, and I have been stung twice because of this.

I will never again purchase a smart device from FNB, and the inadequacy of the level of support received to actually get this resolved is appalling. This, and all of the stupid issues with the online portal are making me question whether FNB is worth sticking with. But that's another, longer story, which I don't care to get into.

I have had this phone back from the Samsung Service Centre for two days. It was working when I got it back, then it died, then I put it on to charge, then I started it... and guess what? It hangs at the Samsung loading screen. Can we please sort this out before I lose my **** and start throwing my toys out the cot? Either fix it properly this time, replace it, or return my money to me, because this is utterly pathetic.
