Smart Device Penalty Fee

I am so so disappointed at First National bank and their employees who aren’t even give a proper and valid explanation. I bought a smart device online which was discounted, I decided to make a settlement of the money owed to the bank on the 9th of this month which was R4300 and only to find out that I was charged a penalty fee of R3100 then when I ask how it came to R3100 the consultant can’t even explain that to me, the only thing she will say is that when you make an early settlement, a fee will be charged. Yes I acknowledge that a penalty fee was charged but how did it come to R3100 I mean really so much money for an early settlement. But according to my understanding when you make a settlement be it a car or a house, you pay lesser than the actual amount you owe but why charge a penalty fee if I am being responsible for paying my debts in due time, maybe I am paying because I am being retrenched so I need to settle all my debts but a fee is charged, R3100 nogal. This is so unfair to any customer experiencing such an issue. I want to reverse the payment whether is closed or not and go back to that R4300 to pay it the way I was cos what happened is just a shock. I don’t need a consultant to call me and give me stories, i want a payment reversal and charge me that reversal fee of R250. Bad bad bad bad bad service I must say especially when it comes to smart devices
