Slow resolution for a mistake from FNB's side
On the 7th of June 2022, I used the FNB app to purchase pre-paid electricity for the value of R750. I received a pin code to enter into the meter and the meter did not accept the pin code.
I then contacted my personal banker Cohen Naidoo via email on the 8th of June. He rep**** that he sent my query to his analyst and she would get back to me.
Aphiwe then rep**** to me on the same day telling me to log the issue on the APP. On the 9th of June, Customer care sent me a mail with *** stating that they will get back to me. I then received a mail on the 13th of June from Aphiwe asking me to send her information regarding this and that I will then get feedback within 24 to 48 hours.
Today 15th June, Customer Care mailed me to tell me that my complaint has been logged with ***. So it has been 8 days and I am still where I was 7 days ago.
I will be running out of electricity in 2 days, should I now contact my bank and ask for a short-term loan to purchase more electricity until this matter is resolved, or does FNB want me to go and look a friend or family member in the eye's and ask for money?
How long will this mistake from FNB be resolved???
