Slow Lounge: R500 to look around! Seriously?

I boarded an international flight on 11 November, and wanted to take a look around the slow lounge as I do not travel frequently. I told the lady at the desk that I just want to take a look around. I was in and out within 5 minutes and did not use any of the facilities. When I arrived back home, I noticed that R500 was deducted from my bank account for "slow lounge visit". When taking this up with FNB, I was told that I did not meet certain requirements to receive free slow lounge visits, and that it didn't matter how long I was in there, I must pay. This is ridiculous and utterly bad customer service! For one, I told the lady at slow lounge reception that I am not staying, and she didn't inform me that entrance means payment. Secondly, the customer service afterwards is horrible! Phone calls and e-mails are just a waste of time. If FNB insists on keeping my R500, I will surely move banks and never recommend FNB to clients again!
