Sickening service fees

On the 22nd April 2015 I went into the FNB branch at Carlswald in Midrand to draw 3 months bank statements. I needed the statements to reflect 3 salary payments made into my account. When the consultant pulled the 3 months statements it did not reflect my salary paid in January which was paid into my account on the 24th January even though it was withing the last 3 months from the date I drew the statements. Then the consultant drew a separate statement just for January to reflect my salary for January. At no point did the consultant tell me what I would be charged for these statements. I was charged a sickening R117 all together for the statements which was probably not more than 10 pages.

I used to bank with Standard bank and was unhappy with the service from them so I decided to move to FNB and now this is the ridiculous bank charges I am left with. I cannot afford to pay R117 for bank statements. It seems like FNB is only for the rich and elite who can afford these sickening bank charges. For anybody wanting to move to FNB, dont bother, the service from FNB is probably no better than your current bank as I have experienced with their home loans department.
