Shocking service experience
As I was planning for my Easter holidays I decided to withdraw from my investments at FNB, Unit trust that requires 48hours notice, right on time on the 11th April I called the call Centre and placed my notice, the guy just said if you don’t receive your funds on the 14th call us, it never bothered me because I could not imagine anything going wrong, the 14th my Money was not paid, when I followed up I was told it was due to FICA restrictions. This is purely treating customers unfairly because until that date, I did not received any form of communication that I should submit fica, I decided to overlook this unfair treatment and submit everything required to Angel and again wait for the next 48 hours, expecting the payment on the 21st. (Now I need proof of that communication). Still my funds were not paid, I followed up and the only feedback I was given is that they are waiting for feedback from the department, it’s shocking that in 2022 it would take more that 3 days with no feedback or date promising when my funds would be paid, it is very expensive to sit on a 087 call Centre music just to be sent from pillar to post, the most painful process I had to deal with. No 1 at FNB has the decency to just keep me informed or manage my expectations. I turned to their internal complaints system last week, what a Joke, everyone calling me regarding my complaint still does not know where to start or even have a solution for me. I am not applying for a Loan at FNB, all I want is to withdraw my own money. Can someone please release my Money in the account before end of business the 29. I have been patient for 18 days it’s enough. Plus the interest I ended up paying on their credit card as my last resort after all the inconvenience they are costing me. I am extremely disappointed at FNB, I used to rate the their service the best, it leaves a bitter taste for me.
