SHOCKING! FNB does not allow me FOREX or the use my cards internationally AFTER I'm overseas!!!!!
I went into your branch on the 20th December to organize the use of my banking cards in Hong Kong and New Zealand and to organize Forex. I was told that my cards were in order for international use but I cannot use any of them!!! This has landed me almost on the street at this stage. I am having to try to get to the South African Embassy for assistance as I have tried calling the international line for FNB but there is no response! Regarding the forex, I was told I have to organize that by myself. So I tried and received a small amount (in case it was inadvertently sent elsewhere), and now that I want to ask for more (well within my legal limits) you are not allowing me to any move more than the 10 000 rand I first moved in a country where that amounts to 100 dollars! Please rectify this asap as you have landed me in a really dire situation. Please HELP!

13 Jan 2020, 12:34Shall I say writing this while sitting on the street as I cant pay for anything here due to *********** bankers?? I received a call from someone at Cresta now 12:12 am (the middle of the night and still no resolution). He tells me to go online and check to see which of my cards are active (please tell me how). He tells me that my credit card was not made internationally active as I cant do it in the bank (then why did the lady tell me it was all sorted?). He also tells me to move all my money into my non-active credit card and use that (is this because my debit card has been cancelled against my wishes?) and he tells me to contact the credit card division from here in the middle of the street at midnight! WOW, I must say Fnb your service is exceptional!! I have tried at least 20 times to move forex. I have received an OTP once, and it was two seconds after my allowed time lapsed. I must say that this should make a jolly good story to tell My Broadband or some Newsreel.

She said that the only way to verify the app was for me to make a R300 payment to someone and then I must wait for 7 days be the app gets verified. Thank you Zukiswa (who I did tell of my predicament and that I had no money for anything here in New Zealand) who would like me to sit here for 7 days in the street while the app gets verified. How does FNB service get better than this? This had been going on for more than 7 hours trying to communicate with FNB. it is now 1.05 am and its starting to rain. In for a jolly week out here unless I can get to the embassy in Wellington.
