Shocking Customer Service
I had a query regarding a fee that was deducted from my bank account; i called the customer service center this morning & spoke to a lady, who was unable to help me. She was supposed to transfer me to a manager. I then ended the call after being put on hold with no answer. I called back & gave my whole story all over again & the guy put me through to the automated verification, that just went dead. I then called backed for a 3rd time & this guy said he was unable to help me & transferred me to a different department. The lady who answered that phone told me she couldn't help me & transferred me back to the general queries. I then sent an email to FNB complaining of the service. I received a call from a guy who said he was going to escalate the matter. I then received another call from a different guy, who couldn't be more unhelpful even if he tried. He said he will escalate the matter to HQ & when it gets declined he will contact me.
For a bank that advertises customer service as a priority, this type of service from not one, but six different consultants is shocking.
I am left unimpressed with the service i have received today. And still no resolution to my original query
