shocking communication

I advised FNB that I was going to Namibia and that I was going to be using my CCard whilst "overseas". This was acknowledged and there was no problem with that. HOWEVER, I was woken up at 8am (Namibian time) first by a call that I could not answer then a day or two later, again at 8am I received a sales orientated call to upgrade my credit card. Apart from being HIGHLY inconvenienced at 8am. I had to pay for this COMPLETELY UNWARRANTED call. I am on prepaid and MTN cannot give me an exact call cost I demand to be compensated for the inconvenience and call cost

It is now a month since I was phoned by FNB whilst on holiday and despite numerous repetitive inane emails to and fro and telephone cals repeating the SAME info on the emails with NO resolution,

NO - ONE at FNB has the guts or ***** to say, "Sorry Mr S, we have totally messed up, we apologize profously for twice waking you up at 8 AM and trying to sell you a service and that you had to endure the cost of an international call. Please accept the offer of R500 as our compensation for the sheer inconvenience of this, We have since implemented measures to ensure that similar incidents do not occur."

But NO... fnb is playing Timothy Tight **** here
