SHAME ON YOU FNB

Posted on Facebook:
I was HORRIFIED by a poster at FNB on the fees of using a teller. FNB believes that their client base will be better served by machines in future. (No wonder there share are dropping at an alarming rate on the JSE.)
With a nation of high illiteracy , how intimidated would you feel standing in front of a machine giving you written instructions, if you cannot even read it? Their reply on this is that there is a person 24/7 to assist people on the ATM's. So after hours the security guard is there to assist (I wonder who pays him, and how vigilant he can be in doing his job, if he is busy helping people at a machine?)
These costs affects the POOREST OF THE POOR the most. Sending a R100 of their hard earned money will cost R50! - only R50 get to the other side. I am sure they then get charged again on withdrawing the money on the other side! PAYING 50% ON A TRANSACTION IS INSANE! I think it is THEFT!
I have been a client of FNB for over 30 years. I am disgusted and ashamed to even say that! It does not surprise me that Capitec is growing their shares on the JSE in the way that they do! Maybe, just maybe, it is time for change. SHAME ON YOU FNB!
