Shady credit account dealings

<p>I was offered a credit card from an fnb branch when they told me I don't qualify for overdraft. I filled out documents and sent through my payslip. A guy called me twice and the last call to inform me everything is finalised and gave me a sermon on how it works what my limits are and interest rate and the works. I requested a courier as I have no time to go to a branch to collect it. I got an sms to say it's going to be delivered and another after. I activated the card, by then the account was already on the list on my online banking app. I then tried to transfer a small amount to my cheque account to say it has no funds. I called in and lo and behold. They said they can't see my card and that credit cards do not start wth my card number that I got. They told me there wasn't even a card ordered and the application was not approved. And then they asked for my payslip which was sent. What the helll is all this?</p>
