Settled loan, FNB still took instalment after
I have settled my personal loan account (Reference ***) on 18 December. I also notified my private banker (Bongi Sile Sibiya) and the personal loan department mail (***) about this settlement. Then on 24 December FNB ran a debit order to the amount of R2773.72 for this personal loan. I called on 27 December to enquire about this. The lady confirmed that the loan was settled and closed, and I would be automatically refunded in the next 2 working days. However, I still have not received any refund. This is placing a lot of financial stress on me especially this time of year

02 Jan 2025, 06:47I have still not received my refund, although I was called and promised the refunded amount will be paid into my account by the end of business on 31 December. How is this good and fair business practices to lie to your clients...?
