SERVICE BEYOND CALL OF DUTY, AND STANDING IN THE FIRING LINE IN THE DEFENSE OF TRUE "CUSTOMER CARE"!!

From walking into the revamped North Rand branch of FNB -fuming like I was with "steam coming out of my ears" because of an institution that is notoriously famous for taking money out of people's bank accounts "unilaterally" - I was professionally welcomed and calmed down by the "innocent" and extra friendly staff that did even know of my war with that company, but they were all prepared "to take it on the chin" for something they didn't do in the name EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Inside it turns out that I am not the only customer that is angry for different reasons, but the staff there all uniformly strutted their stuff served us all so well that most of us left the branch with our tails in between our legs out if appreciation of good service, because they returned our wars with service beyond excellence after we wanted to fight them for other's companies' sins they didn't know of or even commit!! I salute - which I rarely do - FNB NORTH RAND, and I advise other branches of FNB at leafy suburbs, to "take a leaf" and learn from FNB NORTH RAND!!! If I can get a billion now - which highly unlikely - but remotely possible, I wouldn't want to bank it from Head Office, but would want to invest it at the NORTH RAND branch in BOKSBURG!!! As I consumer rights "activist", I don't usually write such ratings, but in all fairness, justice and honesty, I feel compelled and duty bound to balance criticism with ACCOLADES where they are DESERVED...
