Sequestrated yet FNB either does not know what that means or does not want to
Due to a long and unfortunate series of events, which included failure of my business, I have been sequestrated. This was gazetted, shared with FNB via registered mail, and emailed to all your various departments with court order and paperwork attached. FNB has not closed the accounts and is sending me SMSes, emails, and phone calls relating to the arrears and handover. I have informed FNB numerous times as to who the consultant and attorneys are that should be contacted. Please close all FNB accounts, business and otherwise, and put a claim against the sequestrated estate as per the law.

Unfortunately I am still getting calls from FNB agents threatening to hand me over. I received a rude call just on Saturday again. My attorneys have advised me not to deal with the matter. I've sent FNB all the documentation regarding the sequestration numerous times. Please contact Maritha Botha Insolvencies, or send me an e-mail directly and I will forward the sequestration order and lawyers letter to an individual person. I've already sent it to all of FNBs individual departments and nothing is happening. In fact, if I log into the app, shockingly, it offers me loans, which is utterly irresponsible.
I am honestly shocked at how poorly FNB, one of the biggest banks in the country, is geared up to deal with this. By court order all my credit agreements have been cancelled and FNB must collect what it can from the liquidation of my business and from my sequestrated estate for the rest by engaging the curators / liquidators / attorneys.
The accounts should be closed post haste and your agents should stop phoning me.
