Scary horrible experience

I recently switched over to FNB. Worst decision ever. They do the debit order switching? Not. I had to do a lot myself

Then I took out an unlimited mont to month contract for R399.00 per month. Recently I was in need of a new phone and took out an unlimmited contract for an iPhone 6 plus. What I've asked them to do was very simple.

I have an unlimited call month to month contract with FNB connect with my ported number I have had for almost 15 years now.

Please cancel this month to month contract and migrate my number to the new 24 moth post paid contract as I don't need 2 contracts. Please also load 2Gb of data on this new contract with my 084 number.

I find it really hard for anyone NOT to understand that. It is a very straight forward request and I did easy to understand.

Another debit order went off last week. I called the call centre and they advised me it will only be paid back to me withing 21 working days. I explained what I needed to be done again to this agent. On 01/04/2017 a debit order for R786 and ANOTHER for R786 went off my account. That is R1971.00 for a R399.00 contract which I asked to be cancelled. Spent more than an hour on the phone yesterday with absolutely no success. Now FNB sits with R1971.00 of mine. Another thing bothering me is when I looked at my bank balance again, one of the lines is missing, but my balance did not change. It is scary what is going on in the background. How many people does not even notice this. I regret moving everything to FNB.

The call centre agents have an attidtude, are unwilling to help, transfer calls from one telephone to another with people incapable of helping me, answers. I have never experienced such bad service and incompetency from incapable agents. I asked them to listen to their recordings where I asked them what I require them to do, there is just big silence.

I am very worried about the missing lines on my bank account and the balance that stayed the same. My advice to anybody concidering moving over to FNB, DON'T. Whatever the issues with your current bank, it is not as bad as the ones you will have with FNB

I received a phone call from a lady yesterday who seemed to understand the problem here. She promised the money will be refunded by 12:00 today. NOTHING REFUNDED.

FNB, you are sitting with R1971.00 of mine. When I transfer R50.00 from my credit card account, you charge interest. You without permission take money from my cheque account, you don't pay it back, nevermind any interest.

You had no right to take money from my account. Listen to every call I've made. I made my instructions very clear and gave no one permission to take money from my bank account. The first month I was on the month to month contract, you took money prorata from my bank account. You took R1971.00 from me and if your call centre was of any use, I would have sorted this out on there, but it is just a maze of agents taking forever to answer the phone and transfering you to another agent incapable of helping the customer.

THIS HAS BY FAR BEEN MY WORST MOVE TO TRUST FNB WITH MY MONEY AND TRANSFERRING EVERYTHING TO FNB. I SELECTED ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE SELECTING NO STAR MIGHT SEEM LIKE I OVERLOOKED SELECTING.

PAY ME BACK MY MONEY

This happened again this month. Unbelievable. Do Ihave to come to you, sit down at your computer and fix this myself? Obviousely you are *********** to do it yourself. After spending 40 minutes on the phone with one of your useless consultants it is still not solved. They cant even see the R399.00 you took of my account yesterday!

waiting for the other debit orders to go off again. Will you ever be in a position where you solved this first time or not f&ck it up in the first place?

really **** service and frustrating

you took money off my account which is not yours

pay me back with interest or come and get your phone and allow me to enjoy a cellphone service with a cellphone network provider who knows what they are doing

Avoid fnb connect as far as possible

So I asked FNB to reverse the debit order they were not supposed to take and they charge ME for that.

It is the 3rd today and I still have not received my unlimeted call minutes or data for the month. My sim is soft blocked and I am unable to make any calls. After numerouse calls to the the call centre (10+) and them escalating it to the ADMIN DEPT still no minutes and data. Of the many excuses, one was a technical error because they did not improvise for when the 1st of the month is a Public Holiday. Another was I was not yet billed. Well, the money is available, you just need to take it and now that you HAVE TAKEN it, where is my minutes.

If I can help anybody, please steer clear of FNB and FNB connect. Worst bank and Cellpone network provider ever. A lot of other words to describe these issues I am having for two months in a row now. Unable to do a very straight forward change on their system.

I don't have a prepaid SIM card. i only have a 24 month post paid contract. NO OTHER SIM CARDS. As easy as that.

If it is possible, please come collect your cellphone and get out of my life.
