Scan to pay campaign
As a bank, I completely love and enjoy using FNB as my primary bank. I really can't complain with the service I receive from them when I need them. Having said that though, FNB ran a Scan to Pay campaign where clients had to perform scan to pay transactions using the FNB Application. The campaign stated that 200 participants would win R3500 each. I was lucky enough to be one of the 200. However, receiving the amount into my account has been somewhat challenging. After completing all the requirements of the campaign, I got an in app notification saying, and I quote, "Dear Scan to Pay winner, thank you for your response. Your Scan to Pay winnings will the credited to your account in the next 31 days." Needless to say, it's not been 34 days. I get that one should not spend based on future income, however, one is allowed to trust that their banking institution would stick to their word. I would really appreciate it if someone at FNB could kindly take the time to investigate this issue and hopefully do the right thing, given January is right around the corner and there is a lot that needs to be done.
