****med twice

Here's the scenario. My son asked his 18yr sister to draw money for him at the ATM while he looked for parking. She was busy with the process when four men surrounded her, distracted her stole the card and "shoulder surfed" the pin numbers. They then intimidated her while one of them drew R3k out of another machine and proceeded to fill up two cars with his card. I dont blame FNB for this happening as this is indicative of the crime we are facing on a daily basis (although some security measures at their ATM's would be appreciated). What frustrates me is the response from the ***** department. I know FNB is insured for these circumstances but their explanation after nearly three weeks of "investigation" was they will not cover this as it was not a "tap n go" transaction on the card and he should have cancelled the card imminently, not ten minutes later (the ten minutes was when he was trying to console his sister who was obviously shaken up), But FNB are not concerned about the person, just the money. Your response was callus and greedy. In my opinion, my son got ****** twice.
