**** or not? Individual CRS

I am receiving emails from an email account " ***" where they are requesting that I fill in and submit forms regarding my taxes. I have no idea if this is a phishing **** or if it is real and no one can answer me regarding the legitimacy of it. When I call the "***** line" I am told that I am speaking it to the wrong department as this is a query and not *****.... so what am I to do? I am also getting sms's like these: "Changes impacting your tax information were detected. To remain tax compliant please respond to our email or call *** FNB a div of FRB L" I am too afraid to respond and it is a ****, or to ignore it and it is not.... FNB please help!
