**** debit orders

I've had an FNB account for many years now and I've had several **** debit orders going off on my account. I've since changed my account to a savings account and now when these ******** try to debit, it bounces but I get charged R8,50 each time for the reversal.

I called customer care and the lady I spoke to said they can't block these debit orders unless they go through meaning I must let ******* ***** my money before I can get assistance. I don't understand why our banking details are not secure enough to prevent this in the first place. & I don't understand why I'm the one that has to keep paying charges when I'm the one who's being ******. Surely FNB knows by now that Mzansi, Dvotion and Npsec4s2 etc are **** debits and should be able to protect its clients from them at no extra cost. I am very disappointed. I have a cheque account with another bank and I never experience this horrible inconvenience with them.
