On the 2nd of September 2021 SARS paid my late husband's tax refund to my bank account. On the morning of 3 September 2021 the refund was withdrawn from my FNB account without a trace. I have proof as to what my balance was after I received the refund and what the balance was the following morning. I phoned FNB's ***** department and they advised that SARS debited my account. FNB said that they have no control over SARS taking money from bank accounts, they cant reverse the transaction.

Today, 18 November 2021 a "bank adjustment" debit gets withdrawn from my account. This amount being exactly what SARS refunded and withdrew from me. They cleared my account and I'm left with a credit in the red. They took my money. Once again FNB advises that I should take this up with SARS, they don't have any control over it.
