Safety deposit box

My father has banked with FNB his whole life. Four years ago he had a stroke and my mother had to get a power of attorney to manage his bank account and affairs. A safety deposit box was \attached"to the account which we were able to access without any problems.<br> <br> Our problems started when my parents moved to Herm****. The Herm**** branch refuse to link the safety deposit box to my fathers account without my father coming into the branch. I have explained to the the Theresa Elofse that my father is in no state to come to the branch and the whole experience would be very humiliating to us. She insists this is the only solution and our suggestion that she should come to our house is dismissed out of hand. I must note that the Stellenbosch branch often came to our house because they understood the condition of my father.<br> <br> If the Herm**** branch insists that I must humiliate my father by taking him to the branch I guess this is my only choice.
