Sad truth about FNB
So disappointed in FNB. Fullof expectation, I opened a current account with FNB, believing all their banking promises, changing my salary to them, but oh my... First of all, trying to contact them... I asked and asked and asked them to activate my eBucks thatvI did qualify for. Nothing. Asked and asked, nothing. Then I app**** for a credit card, with excellent credit score and easy affordabilty... Delclined... Just another offer of open an even more expemsive bank account with a fee of R250 pm, which Inwould have considered if FNB treated me with more respect than just a digital nr. I needed a credit card for car rental. Then I app**** at a bank I do not even bank with and was offered an excellent credit limit in 15 minutes. No fuss. Then I reapp**** at FNB as some of the car rental companies need 2 credit cards for certain vehicle rentals... Declined. FNB loves to offer you products where they can make money off of you, but if you need them as a bank, they just do not care. The in app message system is a joke. They take an hours to answer you, or just transfer you. Took all my business away and closed my accounts and moved to a real bank that cares for what I need. Sorely disappointed in FNB and I was excited about this journey, but rudely awakened to how FNB 'care' for their clients. I grew up with FNB, long before they were even called FNB, but just not the same bank anymore. Think twice before taking your business there. They did not even trt to resolve any of my complaints.
