Runaround and Disappointment

I am bitterly disappointed at this moment.

I ordered my 4th or 5th device through FNB this year in the beginning of the year and it was my second fitness device. At the beginning of this month it started giving my major issues and it is still relatively new.

When I phoned to ask whether it was still under warranty because it was faulty, I was told to contact Digital Planet (DP) directly as they are the ones who fix devices.

After a 20-day struggle and countless mails, phone calls and now eventually Hello Peter complaints I got feedback from them.

It seems FNB should have been the ones in control of this entire mess but instead I was having to deal with DP directly without FNB even knowing about the complaint.

20 days later and I must contact FNB to find out what is going on as I'm told by DP that the credit note has been sent and their job is now done, but FNB doesn't have a clue about the entire situation.

I use FNB for the ease and convenience of it, but this has been a massive headache and I can't say it was either of those things. I got the device to gain vitality point by tracking heartrate during workouts and count steps, I have done neither of these things for almost the entire month and have lost out on rewards. I have also invested in accessories for a device that you no longer stock so I know I will not be getting a replacement device. This seems like a more costly option that saving up and buying a device cash and its really making me think long and hard about moving my entire portfolio to discovery rather than fight with FNB.

My case number is CAS391931. If you need more information about the DP feedback, please see my hello Peter review of the same case. The only reference I have from them is my waybill number TL009150.
