Roshan Jelal Head if FNB ***** Division: He is by far the worst thing to happen to FNB
Roshan Jelal Head of Risk from FNB put a hold on the Keolebogile Consortium Pty Ltd account in December 2020 claiming that there is ********** activity from said account. When FNB confirmed that the monies which were in the account belongs to Keolebogile Consortium employees, Roshan Jelal called Tshepiso Maphatane at UIF Risk informing him that Keolebogile Consortium is suspected of COVID Ters *****. Mr Maphatane stated that he will investigate. But didn’t. Instead he sat on the file for 12 months without informing UIF Auditors to do said investigations. December 2021 Maphatane after an intervention was requested from the Minster of Labour office when the Minister wanted to know what was the delay only then did Maphatane inform their audit division. Mr Nkosi and Mr Shaka were very detailed and gave back a report stating that no ***** was committed. FNB still refuses to release funds that were meant for employees of Keolebogile Consortium and Mr Maphatane states that there is still further internal processes to be followed of which he can’t even articulate. 15 months employees remain without their COVID TERS Payout because of Roshan Jelal. While FNB continues to deduct fees from said payout.
Is it FNB plan to ensure that the said payout gets to zero based on fees deducted every month, and the monies never get paid to the employees? Families are reliant on that money to pay for basics. What are they eating? How are they paying rent? Water? Lights? How are their kids going to school? How is schools fees paid? Does Roshan Jelal know the extent to which this money assist these families? Does he care? Or is this a plan to de***** the government of COVID Ters? Or just a plan to frustrate black businesses?
Mr Roshan Jelal refuses to remove the block and no reasons are given. As stated prior Keolebogile Consortium employees still remain without any salary or payout from COVID Ters. Approaching 14 months where MR Joshan Jelal is holding on to these employees COVID Ters.
A report from UIF which has indicated that FNB went beyond their mandate with the depart was given to FNB. But MR Roshan Jelal refuses to remove the block. UIF indicated that FNB has no right to refuse employees their payout or hold any payout of COVID Ters to reach its recipients at any given point in time. Maybe Jelal has other plans for this money. How many other business has Jelal block for no reason and continue to refuse to remove the hold? Are these black or white business accounts? Or is majority black?
Does FNB give the same type of service to privilege clients or is this type of service only given to the historically disadvantaged? Is this service meant to frustrate businesses of the historically disadvantaged? There no other bank who been very inconsistent in its service delivery.
