Rogue FNB

I sent in a debit card claim dispute about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I called their call centre on 09.11 and was told they are still busy with the investigation. I called again yesterday 13.11 and was told that they are not going to refund me the funds taken off my account because they cant see any ***** taking place. I was told by the call centre agent that he was going to email me the letter of their findings, I am still waiting for the letter.

Firstly I had to call them to get feedback, nobody had the decency to call or email me feedback.

Secondly I was told that why did I not report the transaction and cancel the card when I found out.

My response to the second question is that because of this **** of a bank FNB does not send sms for any transaction under R100.01. These transactions were all for R50. How the hell was I to know R50 rands were taken off my account if I was not notified by sms. FNB wants you to put the app on your phone in order to get sms for any amount that goes of your account.

Is FNB reimbursing their customers the data charges to have the data on in order to get he message from the app. Standard bank does not ask that of their customer. Even if R1 goes of your account with Standard bank, you get a sms.

I only found out about these transactions because I went on my online banking.

I want FNB to show me the proof that they found to confirm that I took that money out of my account because ***** has taken place on my account and FNB ( the worst bank that they are) does not seem to think so.

I regret ever banking with FNB. I am going to move my account to Standard Bank and am purchasing property now and will be taking my home loan with Standard Bank.
