I changed to FNB and got issued a GOLD card. The fees were R100.00 a month. After 6 Months the account became a PLATINUM one and the fees was R180.00. SInce then I have been upgraded to FNB Private Clients. It costs R419.00 per month plus over R100 for each transaction that goes unpaid. When I was with ABSA, I never had my bank charges so high. They totalled +/-R300.00. How is it that they claim to have so many benefits when the bank charges are so much. So much that I have had missed payments and am currently under debt review. I think to myself. I have money in my account just to see it disappear. Can someone please help. I cannot even open an account with lower benefits. I then have to pay double the next month just for something else not to get paid.
