****** by my Bank! The saga continues...

Below is a previous review by me and the unsatisfactory results thereof:

I queried via online banking as to why I am debited R13 each month for statements on my Encore gold account while I have never received any statements ever! According to the pricing guide, monthly statements are free. I received a call this morning from a lady in this regard and was told she is putting me through to the right department then the call ended.
Once again I emailed the above paragraph to FNB super service, the same lady called me and said she was putting me through to the right dept, I was transferred to someone and had to explain my problem all over again, I was told she was putting me through to the right dept, A gentleman answered from cellphone banking and once more I had to explain all over again. I was told I am at the wrong dept and the phone went dead. All this after 20 minutes on the phone!

Official business reply:

Good day Mr. geoff dellow

Thank you for bring this matter to our attention. Kindly note that we have logged this matter as a formal complaint with the following reference number: ********** .

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused in this regard and assure you that you will receive feedback within the turn around time of 24 to 48 working hours.

Thanks regards

Rahim Salamaan

FNB Hello Peter Complaints Resolution

A lady called me and mentioned that I have been re-imbursed for 6 months statement fees. I was debited for 12 months statement fees but according to her I can only be refunded for 6 months. it appears that the other 6 months fees which is due to me gets "******" by FNB? This is totally unacceptable!

Apr 6, 2017
Official business reply:

Good day Mr. geoff dellow

Thank you for bring this matter to our attention. "Thank you for bring this matter to our attention" Bad for a professional institution!

A lady called me on Tuesday 18 April and told me that the 6 months refund was a gesture of goodwill. My reply to her was - How can money owed to me but only partially refunded be a gesture of goodwill??? My account was debited @ R13 now for 13 months for something I never received and only half was then credited to my account "as a gesture of goodwill"???
I was told she would call me back the next day 19 April. Till now I have still had no feedback. I am now on the verge of taking legal action!

Apr 22, 2017
Official private business reply:

Good day,

Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kindly be advised that your comments have been escalated to the relevant manager to address this matter urgently.

Kind Regards
Complaints Resolution
Amukelani Chauke
Email address: *****************
Tel number: *********

On Thursday 4th May, I received a call from a lady named Lettie at FNB Vryheid.
