RMB/FNB processes *****ulent transactions after a call is Logged to stop the activity.

My horror with Rand merchant bank a division of FNB , i never thought this was possible with such a prestige bank. On the 25 September 2023 My bank Balance was at a -R500 of my R1000 overdraft facility . Two *****ulent transactions took place to the value of R2 276.15 more than double my overdraft facility limit. I immediately cancelled the card and tried to log a ***** dispute on the FNB app. To my Suprise the transactions were not available to be disputed. I then made a call to the bank to log a dispute which seemed to be successful and got a reference number for it. The next day I sent the case number and my problem to my private banker Lesego Mosime and Ben-shir Talya enquiring how this happen because the amount was over my Limit which should have resulted in a straightforward decline. The only answer I got was that the transactions are still pending waiting for authorization, it would have then been Logical that the next step for the bank would be to reject the transaction, but to my Suprise a day or so later after my salary had cleared. The pending transactions got cleared to debit my account even after the matter was apparently escalated. The Bank is definitely in on this ***** syndicate. That only explains how such things can be allowed to happen and they do nothing to stop it. A whole RMB... A ***** .........
