RMB Homeloan dispute

I have been in correspondence with RMB Private bank together with their attorneys over a dispute we have with them for over a period of 3 years now. My business went into trouble and I could not afford to payment my full home loan instalments which I have been paying well for 13 years prior to my business crash. I tried reasoning with RMB to ask them to look at easing my financial stress and work with me to try and meet some sort of affordable rate for a certain period until I am able to get back on y feet and comfortably service my home loan which I house my wife and 2 children.

I'm afraid to say I was met with hostility from the word go in 2015 and all my pleads landed on deaf ears, all they wanted to recoup were the outstanding arrears amounts which I really could not afford. I was straight away directed to their legal team of which I had to move through my legal team to try reach neutral ground which could never happen from the word go because they took the bull dog stance of a superior power and all under must just abide by the judgement granted by their swords not considering the family at steak nor the willingness to continue paying because I know very well I have an obligation to fulfil my financial commitments every month. After 3 years this process has made me bleed hundreds of thousands of rands in legal fees and further home loan instalments in trying to show that I want to reach an agreement and still pay off my bond which I have been paying for 13 years. all of these funds could have been directed to settling my arrears and continue paying for my bond in trying to rectify my life and secure my families home.

I have paid hundreds of thousands in my lawyers trust account at this stage to show that I don't want to fight but resolve this very frustrating issue and be on good terms with RMB for future business. Those funds were transferred over to RMB but at some stage RMB could not allocate them accordingly and in questioning that statement seems that I had made matters worse for myself which led to them declining the offers made to them through my attorney towards settling my home loan arrears, and moving forward to sell my home without having reached any agreement what so ever. I have all correspondents between my attorneys and RMB together with their attorney's correspondents, which entail all proof of payments made in trying to resolve the matter together with all proposals put forward which were declined and I keep asking them do they want to help me remedy the situation or are they just in the business of forcing good people to become homeless.

I reach out on this platform as my last and only option left to try and get RMB to sit down with me so we can devise a strategy to remedy the critical situation we are both caught up in, my cry is I don't feel I have been treated fairly especially after a long service I have been a good client to them over 13 years and at the slight site of trouble I am thrown out like garbage and my well being financially and mentally is over powered by their drive to fight to make sure one is homeless rather than try hold your hand in regrowth as they promised from the beginning of our union. I would like to be given a fair chance and granted a clean opportunity to service my home loan amicably and grow my portfolio back to where it was.

Maybe I could be given an opportunity to service my current instalments while devising a plan together with RMB on hold they can allow me to take the arrears in stages as I do have an income and not rush for the worst case scenario of losing the only thing left that I have with my family. We have been fed secondary information which we don't know how to treat that the housing committee which we pay levies to has a relationship with the attorneys and they want to get rid of me that is why the attorneys took a axe approach from the beginning because I know of cases where the bank was able to freeze the arrears and a home owner was given a opportunity to fix their finances while paying the current instalments and paying in lump sums during the given trial period until they were in the position on either being up to date and current in their payments or even better settle the full bond balance if able to.

I just hope this platform will help me and my family so we can get our lives back and stop living under a axe that we don't know when it may fall on our necks.

Thank you

Agic Family
