RMB holding me hostage

I am being held hostage by RMB. I have a covid loan that I pay diligently every month but I want to cancel my ridiculous RMB account. I have tried to speak to my “private banker” several times but after a year trying to get a hold of her and threatening to close my account she miraculously answered my calls.

She told me that she’d close the account but it stayed open. I then had to phone in and ask why, she never contacted me and told me that because of the loan they would not close the account. I asked them to switch it to my other account on my profile but they did not. So now I have to pay R 555,00 per month plus the loan account and I am not even using the account.

Stay away from RMB private banking. They are there just to collect and not to listen.
