RMB Failure to remove the Debt Review status and allocate a Private Banker
I exited the debt review process and credit bureaus were updated to reflect that I am no longer under debt review. I sent a request to FNB/RMB to update my profile to reflect that I am no longer under debt review. My Lawyer had to intervene and they told me that the debt review status has been removed under my profile with them. I then sent a request for a Private Banker to be added into my profile. I was told that they cannot do that since my profile reflects that I am still under debt review. This is surprising as I was told that this has been removed. I pay R555 monthly fee for my RMB private bank account of which includes a Private Banker. I am in the process of buying a house which means that FNB/RMB will not consider my application since they are still busy discriminating against me and failing to remove the debt review under my profile and allocating a Private Banker who can assists me with negotiating a better interest rates. It is time I move my banking to where I can be appreciated. This is a violation of the National Credit Act as the Debt Review information is supposed to be expunged from the records once I have exited debt review.
