Ripped of by my bank once again, all I get is false promises!

On 20 October I posted the following review: I opened A Smart account with FNB in February 2007 which offered free funeral cover to the value of R5000.00. I subsequently opened a second Smart account in 2010 which had the same free funeral cover. This account was upgraded to a Encore Gold account in 2015. I was told that the funeral cover would remain.

On 20th September 2020 I submitted a query on the FNB online banking website regarding my funeral policy, ref **********Q. All I got in an automated email was that a consultant would contact me shortly. After 2 weeks I sent a reminder message on the website and received the same automated message, after two more weekly reminders, on 20th October2020 I received a call from a lady explaining that due some error in their system, my funeral cover was removed. She said she would investigate and get back to me in a day or two. It is now over a week since her call and still no reply!

NOW THE SAGA CONTINUES: On 2nd November, I received an email from FNB as follows: "Good day Mr Dellow, Just an update in terms of your complaint lodged. Please note that this matter had been escalated to our Product management division for assistance relating to your complaint lodged and we will revert back once feedback had been received.

Kind regards, Jennifer Coetzee FNB Life Complaints Team"

Once again the saga continues:

On 17 Novemner I receice the following email from FNB: "Dear Valued Customer FNB High Priority Complaint reference **********NF has been sent to Customer Resolution Centre. **********.

A Consultant will contact you within 24-48 Business hours.'

Then the next day, 18 November I get the following email from FNB "Good day Mr Dellow,

We hereby acknowledge receipt of your complaint lodged.

Kindly note that the matter is currently under investigation, your initial complaint # **********NF was escalated to our Product division and to have someone be in contact with you regarding your request. A follow up was now sent relating to this matter and will revert back shortly once feedback had been received.

Our sincere apologies in this regard.

Kind regards, Jennifer Coetzee FNB Life Complaints Team"

The SAGA continues:

A lady sent me an email on 11 Dec 2020 stating that I may send emails to her personal email address so that I can have a single person of contact. on 18 Dec 2020, I sent an email to her and received a reply as follows:

"Good day I am currently out of office and will respond to your email upon my return on 17/10/2019"

It appears that FNB is in a different time frame!!??
