******* on cancellation fee
I bought a Playstation4 through FNB smart device. My first payment was on 25th of October 2014. To date I have paid R3040. I phoned FNB after reading the cancellation policy to ask if I could please cancel as it was still in the original box, never taken out (Ever). I felt is was a waist of money and we need to cut down on costs. I was sure by the policy that it would be a straight cancellation and I understood that I would not be refunded the money that I have paid up until now. After FNB had done the evaluation of the device, they concluded that I need to pay 20% of the remaining amount which is R2188. So not only do they get the brand new (still in the original plastic, polystyrene, fingerprint free) Playstation4, but also R5228 of my money. So I end up R5228 short in my pocket and nothing to show for it, whereas FNB will probably resell it to another FNB client for R8136 (the current rate to buy this toy for on FNB, and it is brand new so it will be sold for the retail price) so in total, they get a whopping R13364 for the same thing. I really don't think this is fare, asking me to pay more on top of what I have paid, please re access the device. it should be a Grading A
