Ridiculously bad service from FNB

To whom it may concern,

There has been a complete misunderstanding regarding my business account's overdraft.

I have had a limit decrease on it for a while, due to unforeseen circumstances; and have had the intention to request it to be removed.

1) Due to COVID, I need a business overdraft as a buffer, thanks to clients paying later than usual (if at all).

2) With the intention of stopping the limit decrease, I received a call from one of your credit analysts (out of the blue) and gave her the go-ahead to remove the "limit" - understanding this was referring to the "limit decrease" (NOT the overdraft balance).

3) After multiple (and I mean many attempts) to contact FNB to remedy the misunderstanding, FNB refused to help or listen (with the exception of one consultant at the branch in Walmer Park - she was friendly, listened and at least gave it a shot).

4) This is causing hardship in the short-term and difficulty to meeting commitments.

5) I was also given a cell-phone number to call to speak to the analyst, just in order to clear up the misunderstanding; however, it turned out to be her personal number, and she was absolutely rude to me and tried to bully me into giving up the name of the person who gave out her number (instead of hearing me out).

6) From what I can understand, her manager is not interested in helping to clear this up either. No one has contacted me back, at all (except the person that tried to help me at the branch).

Regards, Justus

It is now the 27th of October 2020. Somehow, I have been able to navigate this mess and win...

However... Without any assistance from FNB...

I have not heard *anything* else from them.

Let me be clear. Of the banks, *currently*... I think FNB is the best option - but if this is the best, then we're in for a rough ride.

So, I'll be taking this further, at my own pace and entertainment.
