Ridiculous requirements for card application

I app**** online for a FNB credit card. Everything went through successfully, and the account was created but without any credit available. Shortly after I received an email asking for my January payslip. I emailed that to the address given. Thereafter I received an email asking for a completed application form! I ignored this since I had app**** online. After a week or so I received another email asking for my January payslip again!

At this point I called in, and the lady I spoke to eventually told me that I needed to send in 3 payslips! And furthermore that my application had now expired and I'd have to apply again! In the mean time the credit card account is active - I see it online amongst my other accounts; I've received a statement for it already; I've been able to transfer funds to it (although none of the funds are available).

FNB: please get your act together? You've been pestering me for ages to take a credit card, and when I do, you stuff things up. You have now mastered the art of making things difficult for clients!
