Ridiculous interest rate on topup student loans

I have app**** for top-up on existing student loan, for my son's final year of study, where FNB increased the interest rate by 2%, with a top up of R54000. Since November 2015, I'm in a battle with loans department with unacceptable response. Even via personal banker, I'm getting nowhere. My credit profile was given, as reason for the increase - where FNB refused to supply me with information on what changed on my profile to justify such a increase.<br> <br>
