Ridiculous charges

I was charged over R500 in charges for debit orders that were not honored on the 26th of September that was totally out of my control cause my company decided to pay me late and I'm told nothing can be done about. How does a bank charge R105 for each debit order and allows and numerous R8. 50 for a purchase I don't know about. I'm really thinking of changing my bank cause this is a everymonth thing.
