Revolving Loan - Retrenchment benefits

I was retrenched at the end of April 2015 whereby I went to FNB Strand branch to apply for the debt protection option on my revolving loan and smartspend loan. The consultant was extremely helpfull and even contacted the debt protection department who confirmed that I had cover for both loans but not for my overdraft as that facility apparently fell away.
She sent all my documents through to the relevant departments and I received sms's to confirm that the application was in process then that it was approved. My smartspend loan was paid every month by the debt protection insurance but my revolving loan did not. I tried phoning them and one only gets transferred from one person to the other.
Eventually I managed to speak to someone regarding the matter and she told me that I did not have retrenchment cover on my revolving loan. I asked her how is it possible that they can confirm that the application had been approved and now they tell me I do not have cover. I asked her to send me a copy of the contract and she said that she can not.
I tried phoning to speak to someone regarding the insurance and I was transferred about 6 - 9 times and each time I had to explain everything.
