Revolving Loan Facility handed over for collection by Connack Mueller & Co - FNB does nothing to support aid or clear explanations.
As being a long-standing client of FNB I am highly disappointed in their handling of my previous dispute. I have a revolving loan facility with them which they have handed over to their legal representative Connack Mueller and CO.
Their legal representatives made contact with me in order to come to an agreement with an amount due to the bank, demanding a higher repayment amount than what I w=ciukd afford at the time since I have been unemployed for more than a year now and could only make an offer to pay R100.00 towards the account until such time that my circumstances improve and I would be in a better position to make higher payments or even settle the account.
yesterday I receive an SMS as well as email that the client of Connack and Mueller Co was proceeding with legal action again me as they have not received a payment as agreed with them.
In the meantime, having this account handed over for legal action, FNB still went ahead to debit the agreed-upon minimum monthly repayment amount towards the revolving loan facility, after the fact that this account has been ceeded towards their representatives for legal collection.
As the bank had been in receipt of or the payment, their representatives still threaten me with pending legal action against me whereas they had received the agreed repayment amount.
Now their representatives, as mentioned, have initiated legal action against me, and the question lingers as to why FNB would pursue the matter further since the account had been handed over to their representatives Connack Meuller & Co.
I strongly feel that I would revert this matter to the banking ombudsman, should FNB not respond to me with a viable response.
I strongly urge FNB to resolve this with their legal representatives, otherwise, I would be placed in a position to take this matter further.
I thank you for your time and assistance withing this regard.
