Reversed Debit Order with enough funds

Hi FNB

This is the worst I have ever gotten from you. I have contacted both your call center and been to a branch. The branch was much more helpful but no resolution.

I have a debit order which has to go off my account for my insurance company. The debit order had successfully gone off with money left in my account. But then a few minutes later your system returns the debit order as unpaid saying insufficient funds and charges me R100 unpaid fee.

Your call center has a bad attitude and the manager tells me that I didn't calculate my finances correctly. I decided to visit the branch where the ladies were much more friendly and helpful however could not get any joy.

The lady calculated every single part of my bank statement on their system and there was no way it had to be reversed. She spoke to 6 other people being transferred left and right and everybody came to the same conclusion but no one could assist.

So here is my issue. You charged me R100 for my returned debit order. My insurance company is charging me for a returned debit order. And I have to wait to resubmit the debit order and hopefully have cover in this time.

I want this rectified today! I will also hold FNB (First National Bank) Responsible for any loss, theft or damage should I have no cover with my insurance.

Reviewer Update
Not changing this review even though the issue has been resolved now. Even after everything FNB tries to tell me I don't understand how debit orders work. What doesn't FNB understand about there being enough funds in my account at the time of the debit order. According to the lady that called me shes not sorting the issue cause there was enough funds in my account but to show good faith. Wait what? show good faith my ass... FNB messed up here and now I'm at fault. How does a R1000 Debit Order return with almost R5000 in the account at the time. Please explain that to me, or wait don't cause the whole FNB and their mother tried to prove me wrong and failed.
