Reversal Request

On the 2nd of April 2015 I accidentally transferred money to the wrong account. I immediately contacted my bank and informed them what happened, they send me a reversal request which I completed and send back to them on the same day. On 20 April I went to Fnb and the lady ask me for a reference nr and I must check my email so I went home and I send everything again to them, still not reference nr so I went to the bank again and the lady phoned and reported it and got a reference nr. On 7 May I went to the bank and try to find out what was going on and was informed my request was unsuccessful due to insufficient funds.

The money was transferred to a account which was handled by the legal department- - A friend of mine using ABSA made the same mistake by transferring money to a creditcard of someone who was also under review and in the legal department. The lady was helped and she got her money back even though the account was far in the red. I believe they did not even try to help me, they use the easy way out and just take my money - they are *****ing from me and I want this to be investigated - how can banks be so different in the way they work.
