Reversal of Slow Lounge fees of R1000

My son and I, both Platinum account holders flew to Gauteng and back in October with a friend for business and utilised the slow lounge. Although the friend is a collegue of my son the receptionist at the slow lounge put him on my card. Needless to say I have used this practice before without any problems and without any slow lounge fees.
After returning to Cape Town and checking on my account I noticed that I had been charged 4 X R250 for the slow lounge but the fees were not reversed as normal. On querying with my son he confirmed his fees were reversed.
I lodged a query with FNB - Roxanne Jansen at FNB Table View. She has now advised me that Premier have declined the reversal because both my cheque and credit card are not in the same segment. I have a platinum cheque account but a gold credit card. They claim to have notified me of the change.
I have requested proof as I have received no notification. For record purposes I retired from FNB on 1 Sept 2015 but took 5 months annual leave from 1 April 2015 and as I was revoked on the system I received no correspondence since then. If I knew there was a problem I would have entered the slow lounge as a guest on my sons card.
