Requiring divorce decree for surname change is a form of Gender-based **************
Up until this point, I have really been happy with FNB...
Lynette, my private banker, advised that I would need my divorce decree from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to update my surname. If I didn't have an ID with my ****en surname listed on it, I would understand. This requirement is a form of gender bias underpinned by deficit discourses associated with females as *************? As a result, the FNB slogan 'How can we help you' should change to 'How can we help you, Mr.'
Why is it that an identity document/card is not enough to verify my name change?

18 Dec 2020, 16:48FNB's communication strategy is appalling. I arrived in Cape Town last week Saturday, but I have been unable to swipe my global card for purchases since then. I have requested my private banker Lynette to follow up on 15 December, but I have not received any update or clarification?
